Have you tried using co-op mode (from the multiplayer menu)? That has more options than the SP menu.

Do you mean needing only one person to start the game?

If so, go to your serversettings.con file located here:

        C:\Documents and Settings\YouComputersName\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\Default

        Then put a 1 in this line: sv.numPlayersNeededToStart 1

After that, make that file "Read Only" and you should be good to go.

If you play online at all....make a copy of that file and save it in a good spot, you might need it to play online in a RANKED server. I'm not real sure on this because I'm a SP/COOP guy myself

OR: you can bring down your console in game by pressing your ` key right above the tab....and type sv.numplayersneededtostart 1 and that will work also. Just you need to do that everytime you make a server, and it gets on your nerves after awhile

Oops. Yes, you need that command either in the file or typed in the console; I did that so long ago I forgot about it.
