I seen it many times on Wake, I actually saw 5 jets on there before but I think that was because of a glitch.....USMC stole both J10s and then capped the af and got the F18, the glitch is that I thought the F18 wouldnt appear till one of the J10s is down but it did spawn and before you knew it there were 5 jets in the air on the same team

AFAIK the f18 has always spawned regardless of the amount of J-10s... if its a glitch then I've witnessed it many times.

well it is an awesome time if all the jet pilots are ina the same squad and COMMUNICATE with each other.......we lasted an entire round with out anyone ramming trees, helo or each other, very tactical bomb drops, and a fun fast round was had by all (all the USMC LOL)

Had a few of those rounds with all 5 jets, been on the wrong end once or twice as well.

I love Wake, I have been on the wrong side of the rape MANY MANY times, but usually Im not the b!tch LOL there was a guy complaining tonight about us not takin the last flag and just racking up points........I said "you mean to tell me you never did it??" his reply was "yeah I guess your right, carry on" so we did LOL

Only about 6 people out of 64 ever enjoy Wake, they're the ones that run the fastest to the jets/choppers. Everyone else is just a sucker used for target practice. That's why I never, ever, play Wake with vehicles.

Wake Island is the only map in BF2 that is destined to suck no matter which team is winning.

yeah i hate the jets/helis but i love ambushing tanks with C4 and jihad jeeping. << stuff u wouldnt be able to do in IO

IDK, with over 600 hours on Wake, Ive seen my fair share of NOT getting an aircraft, and yes it can be a bit boring if your PLA and the US never gets to shore, but if the US has a good team then you got one hell of a ground fight on your hands

and Ive gotten the gold many times just ground pounding, you get the right pilots in the F35 and keep the J10s off the ground and the map is awesome, or get the right team that takes the airfield FAST and Ive seen many times that the F35 and Cobra were sitting on the ship empty....then its ALL ground pounders and thats when its REALLY good

Ghost Town is a thousand times better for this.

95% of my C4 kills came from Ghost Town, thanks to all the perfect armor ambush locations found on this stage.
