Just a quick, nooby question. What is AA? And how does it enhance one's gaming experience?

when you go to your video card controll panel it tells you eg... nivida controll panel.

its to minimize the starsteping effect on the edges off objects within games.

commonly see 2x 4x 8 x 16x..

in bf2 --- you will know what this is!!!,


( a sphere with sqare pixels + 16x aa = yeah! smooth

Makes the edges of objects seem smoother.

yeah AA really improves the visual quality of BF2. like right now u prob wouldnt really careabout the jagedness alot but when u turn it on (even with just 2x) u'll see an amazing improvement and ull never want to turn it off again.

If you're wondering why there's no HUD or gun, it's cause I was in zombie mode on sandbox and typed in game.drawhud 0. That's with 8x AA, and all the settings on high
