Yea, like most people have already said, the M4A1 is a carbine, not an assault rifle. If you included EF, I would have picked the FAMAS over the l85a1 that I picked earlier.

L85 is ok at medium distances on single shop.

I'd like a nuke launcher with a scope, but let's not drift away from the assault rifles offered in the game. Out of all the ones with a scope, I'd take L85A2 or SCAR-H, then L85A1 and F2000 would be my last choice.

Does the L85A2 in SF have a scope or something? Because the one in EF just has iron sights. Sorry, but I don't have SF.

L85A1 im allmost certain is same in EU or SF, its scoped with a iron sight, actually weird lookin too me.

I keep wanting to dodge dark spots in the road while driving in real life, thinkin **mine**, LOL

also look around in walmart parking lot for snipers. LOL:cry:

We're playing pretty fast and loose with the "Assault" designation, but among the scoped weapons (non-sniper) the SCAR-L is probably the hardest hitting accurate weapon. Like the SCAR-L the F2000 uses the smaller NATO 5.56 round, which doesn't hold a candle to the G3's 7.62 round, but it does have a scope, but which is not as good as the SCAR-L's. The L85 is super accurate (kill snipers on top of TV-Station with a single shot from blocks away...), but doesn't do as much much damage. The MP90 has a scope, but people tend to spray and pray with the 50-shot mags instead of popping of medium distance targets, at which it's decent but not great.

hmmm, one i have is A1, is there a difference in the eu weapons i really dont pay much attention. but i do know my unlocked 1st medic is L85A1

you are most likely right, as i said i dont know much about guns i just thought the L85A1 is the first medic unlock and the L85A2 is the EU gun - i dunno xD if someone knows please correct me - ty

The L85A1 comes w/ the SUSAT scope and is the 1st medic unlock.

The L85A2 comes w/ the AG-36 (grenade launcher) and is the stock rifle of the EU assault kit.

that would have to be the nicest gun in bf2, the power of a G3 with a larger clip and a nade launcher plus a sight with a larger range of view than the original G3

i just dont understand why they make gun names in RL so hard to remember (for me lol). i mean firstly they use lots of number/letter combination - due to large number of weapons and speed i guess. but i mean for example the

L85A1 and L85A2 are they from the same "family" is that why they are similar? because they look completely diffrent to me, the L85A2 looks like a FAMAS to me =/ lol which is a totally diffrent weapon i guess?

L85A2 is simply a Heckler & Koch refurbished L85A2 with improved accuracy and reliability.

Most gun families start out w/o a suffix (A1,A2,etc.) or w/ the A1 suffix (i.e. M16A1, L85A1). The versions/refurbished guns that come out afterwards have different suffixes (A2,A3,A4,etc.), and are usually improved or have some differences(different stock, different barrel rifling, etc.).
