I freaked out when my video settings were reset. All of the sudden BF2 looked bad, but it said my settings were maxed. I couldn't understand it.:laugh:

Just tried playing on Texas Team Server. Played One round and at start of 2ns round,....you guessed it, EA strikes again. Connection lost...bla,bla,..

Same, in Bf2142 I loose connection to the master server randomly, and in Bf2 when I finish a round I get dropped to log-in screen

I hope I am still getting my points from these rounds that keep disconnecting. I have just gotten two silvers and a gold that I want to keep.

I'm pretty sure you will... We were watching this last night, and there appeared to be some lag in the update, but we ended up getting the points ultimately. I don't know about badges and ribbons, but I got another Distinguished Service medal and several Gold\Silver\Bronze medals in midst of all this.

It gets annoying to have to log back in before every round, but it might make it easier to sneak into those full servers ('course the guys that find the server full already when they try to reconnect are thinking, "Doh!")

I guess some of us here are not very good observers...

I thought I made it easy by selecting the armour ribbon, I guess not...

It shows in the latest earned rewards but if you noticed, it is not displayed in my SF showcase of awards next to the helicopter ribbon. Do you understand now?

I don't understand how I got the ribbon yet I "didn't".

hmm... I didn't notice it wasn't shown along side your other ribbons, but what the heck is a "armor transport specialist ribbon". I've never seen or heard of it. I know there's the "armor specialist ribbon" and the "transport specialist ribbon" and their vBF2 counterparts, but seriously, how the heck did you get it?

Ah, I see now.

No big deal really, it shows up on all stat viewing websites. Just the BFHQ screwing up again.

Now you'll need to get that crew service and the rest of the SF ribbons!

Is anyone supprised there is a problem with a BF2 game? Really?

Nope, but one thing is certain... The issue was sure as hell was EA's fault... I've been searching all night without sleep looking for cures to this new problem... I've been playing BF2 for 2 years and never once had an error besides the very well known "your connection was lost with the server" that happens occasionally but never this! And yeah, I thought it was weird how it boots you back to the welcome/login screen... strange??? :\

I googled this problem and got support from EA and they said something like they knew how to fix it but wouldn't post it just yet... how odd is that? They're like hiding something from everybody that's BF2 got screwed up cuz of them it seems like but I dunno... I've heard a lot mabye someting with opening your ports or updateing PB but I have never touched anything with my game and one night it just didn't work... ugh - it's sickening... I wish I were playing BF2 now!

I guess the next patch might have a fix... guess I gotta wait this storm out... at first I was REALLY REALLY mad but oh well... at least I can play!
