Apparently the EA master server is down, and its affecting both BF2 and BF2142.

practically everybody is having the same problem right now. I'm sure EA will be able to clear it up in about a couple days or so.

I also just started getting this problem when i started playing again around 9:30pm est. I agree I think its Punkbuster. Going to go do the manual update now. I'll repost if I find any thing.

I wish EA would stop screwing up and rush things, because getting new error messages every week is getting really dumb now.

Hmmm well I can still play but having to rejoin a server after every round is lame...

me sinks its time for some TV or guitar heros II...

as for EA, I'd expect this to be taken care of just as quickly and swiftly as they did when the stats server(s) went down before summer with just as high quality in there efforts.
