Rain doesnt cause lag, neither does snow, or lightning, or dark maps people....


Part of the 2142 rain/snow code was introduced into BF2 through one of the patches, you can have access to it through the debugger.


Even on mods who had weather through a different method theres no loss of FPS....


I dont know where you all are getting the lag idea....

Maybe the SF nightmaps yes, but darkmaps, I fail to see how theres ANY sort of drop in FPS....
