I think this weapon is very underestimated. I got tired of the unlocks and lately I'm playing with the stock wepons to see how they do. With it's hight rate of fire and very fast reload I think that Type 85 rocks in close combat, and you can use it in mid range combat too, unlike the DAO.

its ok i guess,if i remember right it doesnt have iron sights,but it has a very high rate of fire which is great. -

All weapons have iron sights/scopes besides shotguns.
The 85 has a high ROF but does very low damage.

Yes, its weak like al other SMGs in the game. However, there is no single shot (only full auto) so you never have to worry about walking up into someone and shooting them once. Always full auto.Comment

Well it does same damage as the rest of the submachine guns mp5, mp7, p90, pp-19, but it reloads faster. Anyway I decided to give it a chance just because nobody likes it, and it's not that bad. Btw mp7 has been one of my favorite guns for a while since I play engineer a lot.Comment

Heck yes, that has got to be the most accurate/powerful gun in the game, I mean it even looks mean. =O I think it might kill the enemy in 10 seconds, compared to the P-90's 13.Comment
