Don't throw med packs on the ground before a fire fight. The enemy can run over them and get healed.

Second, you should crouch while reviving, not prone.

Third, heal after every battle. Don't spam med-packs. In fact don't even throw them down unless there is another player who needs one. Every time you throw one, you give away your position.

-.- you maybe not understand about medic pack i dont know, maybe if you play crazy then medi pack is bad idea.
But if you use gun as a long range weapon, i remind you it is, medi packs at feet will not get stolen.

Medic is the weakest class 1v1, except for special ops. This is due to them having weak armor whilst acting as an assault without a special weapon. The only exception is the G36e which is not good to use.

By not throwing medi pack you give up your only advantage over other classes, terrible advice.

Another tip: I learnt other day, medi packs and shock paddles are on the same timer. If you spam medi pack your shock paddles will run out before you can even revive. If you hope to revive do not spam all medi pack.

I disagree, a dive revive can mess up your hitbox if done correctly.

Run towards the dead guy and prone towards his body ( don't jump first ) as you hit revive turn 90 degrees left or right, hit crouch and double tap forward to run.

Once you perfect this the enemy will see you as prone for a split second then almost lag forwards missing some ground and your running away fast.

Things in italic: That is all situational, sometimes it is better to throw the medpack down. It is always good to have a medpack on the ground so you can fight around it and then use it whenever you need.

Having an enemy know where you are can be used to your advantage, if i run round a corner and see enemys, i turn around and throw down a medpack to bounce around over, they know i'm there and will come to get me. They don't know exactly where i am around the corner but i get the split second advantage of knowing exactly where they will show themselves.

Bold = disagree with the crouch and revive. If you crouch no animation is shown on the enemys screen, you're a sitting duck. Like i said above with the dive revive, practise it and soon you will never die reviving again.

Other tips: If you are unsure whether enemys are around and you want to revive someone, throw a med pack on the dead guy first. That way if you take damage whilst reviving, you heal. If he takes damage he heals giving him longer to get away.

Always switch to single fire mode for longer distance shots when using everything apart from the G36E. Only on very long distance shots do you need to use single shot for the G36E, it's so accurate.

If you can't revive someone because they are stuck in a post etc, throw medpacks at the point where the body is stuck, most the time it will move the body enabling you to revive them.

Got a pesky sniper laying prone waiting for you to do the same? Throw med packs at your feet whip out your pistol and crouch / strafe right left firing with scope. Always stay moving, if you hit him once or twice chances are he'll get up to run away, that's when you pull out your main gun and nail him.

Probably think of some more later :p

Thank you ins, first person to actually help lol. Didnt know about medi packs moving people, or the pistol.

I learn because the closing distance against sniper, now as a sniper i lay claymores 5-10m infront of me so any1 tries for a close shot stands no chance. These tips seem to work both ways lol :p

Please post more if you remember any, i will watch some of the pro's to get some ideas.

Another one, if you goto revive someone and miss, quickly swap weapons. Even if you only have the weapon out for a split second and then re-equip paddles they will be ready to use.

And most of all: if you see a dead body, don't automatically go to defibs. Make sure nobody is around first!

It only works if you're behind cover. Like in Karkand, if you turn a corner and see someone running down the street, throw a medic bag on the floor, then move around the corner and fight him.
                      L85 is 1 bad dude:salute:
practice with it is a must though:nod:

                            Auto run = left ctrl
lol thats weird, i may pinch the pistol as middle mouse button.
And crouch for left ctrl, cause as you have it, you can use all keys whilst remaining fingers on all movement keys  great job lol.

Another one, from a running opponant, (unless they got a g36e) use a 3 shot burst to kill mid range, but well place it, rather than loads of quick single shots often works well. Usually beats a target before they dolphindive 180 and kill ya lol.

Also going past corridors like at the maze before hotel, run sidewards across it with medi packs at ya feet. If very close range shoot as you strife across.

Also an obvious one, Identify your opponant then choose how to beat them. For example if fighting sniper who is a low rank and no claymores, go for it and dont hold back. If fighting an assault or medic with g36e make sure you surprise him or lay medi packs to prepare a small trap. Medics are the weakest class one v one, make sure you know your opponant.

                            Medic VS Medic
Lay your medi packs before a fight and fight them anyway, just with your medi apcks you wont lose unless you get head shot or fighting g36e, the only gun to defy the laws of nature lol.

                            Medic VS assault

if they have grenade launcher you must bunny hop past them and take them out before they change gun.
If they dont use grenade launcher, dolphin dive to the side. (you should win cause you know where they are once you landed, but they have to guess where you land)

Medic VS G3 Assault, dolphin dive to side and pray, you should lose moreoften than not to a G3.

                            Medic VS support

If they are prone you must dolphin dive to side, relocate you body.
Or very close range, bunny hop past them as they prone and shoot whilst running to the side. You have small angle to turn to follow them, they have huge 180 degree angle to follow you.
Never dive prone as the enermy support dive prone without bunny hop, with luck you may survive that mistake.

                            Medic VS Sniper

Close gap by running at them, hold medi pack in hand and watch for grenades. Get mid range and start to fire, do not get too close incase claymore. Keep bunny hop, strif crouch (keep your head moving rapidly) and drop emdi pack as you go to prevent a quick pistol kill after being shot. Get close enough and finish enermy off.
Never follow sniper around any corner, EVER!

                            Medic VS shot gun

This is engineer or anti tank.
Just prone very quickly, it is very hard for enermy to 1/2hit kill a prone enermy.
If very close combat bunny hop/sprint to make distance, even run round corner, then prone and kill.

                            Medic VS spec ops

Spec ops is just a weakish medi, bunny hop and shoot, you should win with more powerful gun.

This is all close/mid range combat, if followed with give you advantage in every battle. Remember to spam medi packs every now and again, and be observant of your opponant.

                            This is quite heavy advice,

                                Re: Medic tricks

Some very good tips from Ins.

I don't use the same technique everytime to revive someone, I'll use whatever it seems more effective for the terrain, or area I'm fighting in. Most of the time I revive on the run, I've done it so many times that I can do it 99% of the time. Also, many times, if it's an open area under heavy fire, I'll do a zigzag run at someone, Jump before getting close to them, land on my feet, revive, jump again, and keep running back towards cover, or towards some other revive target. You need to be at full sprint to be able to do this, but it works, and it allows for you to change into a weapon to hit a target, or pull out a medpack to heal while being shot at. Plus, I find everyone will try to shoot at you, so it gives your teamate time to get-up and run.

I will also always try to revive other medics first, because if you get killed, at least there's another medic that can continue on to revive the team, or that can revive you. If you get killed and there's no other medic, then everyone stays dead.
