The answer is G3 rifle for assault, does 40 damage, and PKM light machine gun for support, does 45 damage.
In fact here is a list of the assault and support weapons sorted descending by the damage they do:
Well the best guns for each kit (best; not necessarily strongest)
Assault: AK-101
Spec Ops: G36C
Anti Tank: DAO-12
Medic: I really want to say the AK-101 again, but truthfully it's the G36E
Sniper: L96A1
Engineer: M11-87
Support: RPK-74
But in my opinion, the best gun overall is the AK-101.
