Enough with the BS answers, he is asking a simple question, in the terms of damage what is the most powerful assault and support weapon.
The answer is G3 rifle for assault, does 40 damage, and PKM light machine gun for support, does 45 damage.
In fact here is a list of the assault and support weapons sorted descending by the damage they do:

Yeah the riffleman M16 in PR got x4 zoom. But like i said maybe we will get AGOG model for it in the patch for 0.6.

Well the best guns for each kit (best; not necessarily strongest)

Assault: AK-101
Spec Ops: G36C
Anti Tank: DAO-12
Medic: I really want to say the AK-101 again, but truthfully it's the G36E
Sniper: L96A1
Engineer: M11-87
Support: RPK-74

But in my opinion, the best gun overall is the AK-101.
