the game is out of balance without decent AA

I've knocked out a fair few choppers with the AT, and a ****load of tanks. Two ATs to the rear tracks, or one AT to the windscreen of a heli knocking out the pilot and gunner. If you're lucky you can run up and jump in, but it always hits the ground before I get there. Aircraft are nigh on impossible though. As are DPVs.

But that is the thing. I would say real men fight on the ground against all the over whelming firepower out there...tanks, helos and planes. Not cower away to servers that don't have them.

It is the puss1es that spend all day in vehicles and can't fight without them.

Yeah, I got your hint and my question and statement was more like opening of some wider discussion. It was not pointed to you as an verbal challenge. I've read many your posts and I know you like gaming like I do.

I just hate when other people looks you down their noses when they hear me playing games (at age 35 :)). Since I've always done the things like I like, and given sh1t to those common ways to behave, why should I care what someone else thinks about me playing games, if I like it.

I just wanted to rise some discussion about this matter, but this may be a wrong place to preach, since most of the people here are believers

Well, it is more a stereo typing people. And believe me, it sticks a knife in my stomach when I say it too. Because I think I do more activities then the average couch potato male. I hang off the sides of mountains with a 10mm climbing rope, spend hours in the gym, Mt Bike, play soccer and golf...I think I have the physical parts of being a man down. So, the childish part of me still plays video games.

And this gets into another thread that we had several months ago talking about a shift in paradigms on how old is too old to game. Because when you look at it, men for centuries have sat around playing cards and chess. Aren't this considered games? Only in the last 25+ years have games gone into a video format. So why can't men play games after the age of 22?

This is something that is going to get redressed over the next 15 years as men of our age group (in our 30's) continue to get older and younger kids grow into their 30s/40s, have professional jobs, families and pay taxes; but still continue to play video games like they are some child.

So, to answer your question? I think I am in agreement with you, WTF can't real men play video games? It is more of an old school vs new school thought...a generational thing. And as more females grow up playing video games too, it will be more accepted.

There was a hint of sarcasm in my statement, and a hint of truth from the testosterone induced side of me. I don't think there is anything wrong with men playing video games. It is the ones that neglect they households that give adult gamers a bad rap. Same way shootouts in movies give normal firearm owners a bad name.

Real men don't stats pad but earn their points by playing fair.
Real men don't medic whore but earn their points fighting.
On maps like Wake Island for example, real men play as USMC and get their flags the hard way.
When admins, real men don't kick you out if you kill them but take it proudly.
When they see somebody waiting for the chopper or plane already, real men move on and find different transportation.
