Re: A shot to the head

Do you ever notice when you're looking at some one from far away in your scope, you can't see his specified kit uniform? Like if you saw a sniper running away from you, eventually, he won't look like a sniper anymore. I realised that once someone is at the distance where you can't see their uniform, you need to aim above their head in order to get a head shot. I can't really explain how far above his head, but sometimes it's more than you think.

It's better to aim too high and missing, than aiming to low, hitting them in the body, and making them run away.

And I think people say the M95 has less bullet drop is because it has thicker crosshairs. The m95 crosshairs cover the space you'd see with the L96A1, so then you'd think you don't have to aim as high.

The x means that you scored a hit. The only thing I can think of is that due to lag or maybe they moved so you didn't score a headshot but you shot them elswere in the body so that's how they lived.

I was on Iron Gator the other day and the enemy heli kept insisting to keep coming in where the boats dock at the carrier. So I grab my trusty M95 sniper rifle and I shoot right dead center of the cockpit but didnt get a kill so i shot again and the damn thing blew up and I got 2 kills.

I got an X mark on the head but he didn't die, perhaps maybe I shot one of his ears only and he was able to get back down to stop his ears from bleeding. Maybe I should of aimed for his eyes? or his mouth? I'm sure no one can live if they were shot through the eyes or mouth. Can someone tell me why things like this happens, when clearly his head is the only thing you see and he lives the shot.

Well if it's a far shot aim a little above his head.

it realy depends, because if you shot from far away the bullet might have curbed in a certain way and got him in the chest/neck

                              But it happens...
