I would recommend buying a newer game coming out.

You will be far behind the learning curve now, and you will probably get your faced pwned so much you'll quit playing after a while. Plus there are some pretty sweet games on verge of release.

Alright guys, thanks alot everything ive taken into account. I have the demo and i'll try that today after school or something. I think someone answered but ill just make sure, i own an nvidia Geforce 7300 GS the card is PCI express and it supports 256/512 MB. Will this run the game? I dont mean a bit laggy i mean will this run the game no dramas like i want to be able to walk properly without freezing. Also, what do you mean ill be behind the learning curve? Basically saying its to late to start playing? I think i'll like bf2 but is there any other online shooters that are popular coming out?

They are saying that in order to reach past the frustration point, you need at least 100 hours of game time. This game has been out for 2 years, there are some skilled people out there that will eat you alive :P

Will the 7300 run Bf2 well?

Yes, it should be fine for medium settings with minimal lag, provided your internet connection is fast.

Will the 7300 run the newest bleeding edge shooters that are coming out?

Barely, if at all.

So I'd go with BF2. And yes, you will be eaten alive at first as I was, but after 3 months I can finally hold my own.
