It definitely doesn't look bad. I had to play w/ everything on low at 800x600 for a few months while my desktop graphics card was dead.

I'll try to grab a screenshot at 1280x1024 w/ everything maxed. The anti-aliasing makes a big difference with the jagged lines that you see on the helo blades and anywhere else the line being drawn isn't perfectly horizontal or vertical.

Make sure view distance and geometry are maxed out so you can see as far as possible.

Force AA on in your video control panel. To me no AA looks like crap for sure.

way to many jaggies for my eyes, you've gotta use the AA with a lower resolution like that. also make sure your resolution is set to your displays native resolution, 1024x760 seems like kind of an odd ball number, i never knew there was monitor that had it as native. to set your AA if it isnt sticking from the ingame menu just open the video.con file in your profile under my documents and change the AA line. the line would read like this for 2x

VideoSettings.setAntialiasing 2Samples

you want to make sure you set the AA for the ingame menu, not just forcing it in the videocontrol panel. ive found if you just force it in the control panel and leave it off in game it does not have the desired effect.
