semi auto is the same thing as single shot as long as it's not a bolt action sniper rifle. I dunno what to call a 3 shot burst except a 3 shot burst, I'm sure someone from the military will set us all straight shortly...

Arent they just called "burst fire?" Isnt the standard "burst" 3 bullets? Just a guess though.

well we all know the difference between 3 shot burst and single shot the rest is semantics. IMO Road to Jalalabad + m16 single shot + hiding spot = carnage

For fully automatic weapons, I usually use full auto and just tap the fire key to let of single shots.

But for the M16 I'll always use semi-auto unless I'm really close up.

Single shot is more accurate, I have tested this. The exemptions from these guns are guns that have no single-shot such as the PKM and other support rifles but other than that guns get an accuracy bonus when they are in single shot.

I used to do that all the time, except I forgot to switch from assault to medic :laugh:

There's a great spot near the building with a "car-sized" ramp on it, just north of the south-most MEC CP (I think that's what it is :p).

Switch when you need to. That's the whole point of the two modes. Burst, I hate. It's the bastard child of full-auto and single-shot.
