Chris, it's easy enough to make high altitude drops (400-700), on stationary things, esp. J10 and Z10 spawns.

Since ATS target indication distance is 375 metres, I doubt that you can drop something on top of an APC from that 700 m

And the "easy" part is still using either full nose down diving method, or the HUD, which is my point.

I can make drops from 500 and 600 just by feeling - its one of the ways to avoid J10's with the measly F35, Just dive down (a bit) towards the flag at a certain sweet spot drop and go. The HUD doesn't provide any formula for dropping it. Its all about feeling and logic.

If your not doing it on feeling, then chances are you arent naturally good with the jet. You're already worrying about things lining up in your HUD...
