Re: What Is The Easeist Way To Earn 50 Command Points In A Round
Commanding...
You must have a good team and help your team.. You will not get points for killing people with artillery etc. It is your average teamscore divided by the number of players. That's why you even have to help the people that aren't as good as the others.

In the end, you can only rely on how well your team kills. No matter how good you are yourself, its the team that brings you points. So make sure that your team gets as many kills and pts as possible while you get as less as possible. To do that-
*Arty only flags that are under attack, do not use artillery as an offensive weapon, unles theres a huge pile of enemies near the flag your guys are about to attack.
*Give as much information on enemy troop concentration as possible to guide your jets and choppers there. Prepare to use K key to type all that sh!t up. Its a lot of work, but hey, youre a commander.
*Keep your tanks and APCs alive, aswell as choppers. To do this, keep an eye on your armor and drop a crate near them where you think they are engaging the enemy. This is extremely important. Troops dont need supply crates. Assume they are in squads and supply/heal themselves. Also, pick Engineer kit and wrench your assets. Use supply crates on your armor.
-If you have a regular chopper crew, drop a supply crate for them in a nice place and let them know about it. Drop it somewhere safe and in a remote location.
Theres probably a ton of these suggestions, in Hints and Tips subforum, but for points, I find these 3 to be the most important.

Re: What Is The Easeist Way To Earn 50 Command Points In A Round
This has been covered quite a bit if ya search...
However, I'm a sucker for command threads
Best way to make a 50 point round score is in an under-populated city map with little to no aircover. Ie, Kark, Sharqi, and Mash.
You need to understand how your score works. You only get points through the score of your grunts. You get the average player score on your team (discounting zero and negitive scores). That score is doubled if you win.
To boost your score, what you need to do is WIN with as little use of artillery as possible while your groundpounders do well. You want your grunts to be as even as possible.
This takes some work.
Why is artillery bad?
Because you waste tickets. There are only so many tickets in a round. Every time you kill an enemy with artillery you knock off one ticket from the enemy team without any of your grunts scoring any points. If a grunt had shot the guy, he would have gotten 2 points and thus boosted your score. Since you killed him and you don't get any points, you've just knocked down your own potential score.
Make sence?
You also don't want to over support your best guys. On most servers you will get a single squad that is working very well together and kicking a lot of ***. Those guys are going to end up with really high scores. Since your score is based on an average of ALL your players, you want to try keeping scores kinda even. SO... don't give 'em top UAV priority. use your UAV where the most players are, not where the best ones are. The best will score high and do well even without UAV support. The average players could use the extra helps and with it, they are all likely to score higher.
All this makes it really tricky and is what keeps me interested.
You still need to win. Without using as much artillery and letting your top guys fend mostly for themselves, you're giving the enemy an advantage. He can knock your tickets down very quickly by using arty. He can support his best guys while they capture all you're rear bases and basicly bones you in the... yeah.
So you need to find balace and get really good at command.

Sit at a base where there are noobs constantly running in the door. Pick em off a little bit using some of the assets for yourself.
Easy on the arty, you can sit and contemplate your navel and still get 50 points if your soldiers are any good.
Do a little bit of target shooting as the opponets try to leak past the main line of battle into your rear bases.
Lay C4 at a base you decided you cannot afford to lose, blow em and cap the points should they try to take it.
Dont stop at 50, be a fighting commander and go for 100 or more. But do it wisely trying to get 3 or more kills for every death.

Ignore all that. Commanders don't get any points for kills or any other direct actions (heams/supply/etc).

Re: What Is The Easeist Way To Earn 50 Command Points In A Round
If you can find a server that has a small amount of players then you'll be better as the commander scoring system is dependent on the amount of players in your side. I command regularly on a local sever here that is 64 player, but during the day only has around 20 players or so... The games last long and I can crack 50 points before x2 pretty easily. So long as you support your troops and give them help when they ask for it, keep the UAV flying, don't run off and think you can fight AND command (because you won't be able to) then you should get the points pretty easily.
To said what has already been said a million times over.
you DO NOT get points for kills, driving or flying...
Nothing worse that a commander in a chopper/jet/tank..
If someone asks for a UAV or supplies or somesuch, please for the love of god, either give it to them, or tell them why you can't (reloading etc..)
Lately I've seen a lot of crap commanders who do nothing to help the team hair assing around in choppers...
Good luck with your 50 points..

I agree with what Wargimp said except for the recommendation of an urban map. I'd recommend you go with a balanced 64 player vehicle map with as few players on it as possible. A good one would be Daqing Oilfields. The goal is to have a long round with lots of team points.
Mashtuur, Sharqi and Karkand lack uncaps for one or both teams so the rounds can be ended early with capture of all flags.
