thats why i hide the scroll method. Whenevr your looking at a weapon, and a MEC soldier comes a runnin towards you, you have to "wait out" the menu. Annoying as hell.

That's the first thing I tried, but it doesn't seem to work.

You can also change the rate of fire that way. If you already have your rifle selected and you scroll to it with your mouse and left click you will hear a little click and the rate of fire will be changed from full auto to semi auto or 3 round burst depending on what gun your using.

I find it easier to just tap the 3 button.

for switching rates of fire I find the number keys alot more usefull.

Changing firing modes, IMHO, is pretty pointless. I mean, every gun either switches from auto to 3/1 bullet mode, or from 3 to 1. With auto you can fire 1, 2, 3, or 10 bullets at a time, doesnt matter. I dont know why people like single shot for far distances over auto, when they are essentially the same.

If your firing at someone 80 m away, and an enemy comes running around the corner, and ur in semi-auto, your pretty much done. Youd live if you were on auto, and just used quick clicks instead of single shot mode to hit the far guy.

just my opinion, though.

Single auto can be just as good in CQC. Just click fast

I only use 1 shot mode when I'm using the l85 for really long range sniping.

exactly.... any well rounded player can kill a guy with an ak-101 on single shot.

Yep I do this constantly. I wish you could just right click to make the menu go away. Or maybe it is like that? Anyone know?
