How do I change weapon slots?

what are you talking about? The order? Be more specific.

Do you mean, "How do you change from tier to teir weapons? What?

I think he means when you scroll, the weapons list that comes up.

You cannot change that order if im reading correctly... + why would you? # keys FTW.

Oh okay. I have a mod that allows you to carry like 5 weapons. So, I wanted to change the order of the weapons in their slots. For example, to use a knife, you must press 1. I was wondering if I could change it to 5 or something.

oh i think you can change what number you press, but if you scroll its in original order. correct if im wrong

yeah go into controls, and remove the settings for weapon 1-6 and replace with what button you want.

This is a stupid question, but here goes: I always use the numbers to change weapons because I don't know how to do it with the mouse wheel. I roll it and the weapons come up on the right and I scroll to the one I want, but nothing happens. What do you have to do to select it?

I'll probably stick with using the numbers anyway, but I was just curious.

lol when youve scrolled to the weapon you want then you just have to left-click to use it

You can also change the rate of fire that way. If you already have your rifle selected and you scroll to it with your mouse and left click you will hear a little click and the rate of fire will be changed from full auto to semi auto or 3 round burst depending on what gun your using.

yes thats true and i hate it cos ive often scrolled to a weapon and realised i wanted my original back quick and then youre left with it on single shot , pain in the a##

you can reverse it or make a macro...

Yep I do this constantly. I wish you could just right click to make the menu go away. Or maybe it is like that? Anyone know?
