For the red circle on the minimap i think its their health, the darker the worse condition they are in, regardless of what kit your playing.

Don't know for sure though.

What the circle represents depends on what kit you play.So if you're support the red circle is short of ammo and if medic then low on health.Means you can track down the idiots who call for health/ammo but run off away from you.

The red circle is not health, unless the kit you're playing is Medic. As others have said, the red circle appears around team mates on your minimap that are low on what ever "resource" you have, be it health or ammo. Play a kit other than Medic or Support and check out your minimap. You won't see the red circles.

I remember seeing this a long while ago on Sharqi Peninsula. I was USMC raping the MEC's Beach House in the copter, and a guy dropped tons of supplies nearby... It repaired and rearmed us faster than a helipad... LOL :laugh:
