Maybe it's just me but I'd rather stab myself with a blunt fork than do that unless I feel like nade spamming.



Sharqi Peninsula - Surveillance Post and Alleyway, good places. In fact, Sharqi on the whole is very nice for true infantry play, probably one of the best made maps in BF2 aside from the ridiculous chopper balancing.

Wake Island, South Base VS Beach or Airfield as last flag (unless you're a J10/Z10 whore).

Daqing - East Oilfield (the one with the heli). Mostly start of round helicopter wars though.

Either way, Sharqi is very good for ground battle. As for the brown stain, I'd say between Market and Square or Hotel and Square.

i was on a good server that had very few nade spammers. on top of that it was an all out sniper war and sniper is my favorite kit. i understand your distaste for nade spamming

The junkyard and the hotel at Road to Jalalabad can get pretty nasty if USMC team is good and they take the outpost quickly.

alot of snipers on IO tons and tons of snipers

but once the us gets a few flags in the city the close quarters combat is pretty good.

its ********, the game never goes anywhere when it gets to that point, nothing but 9000 snipers and no one ever takes the water around they want to camp the flag and make idiotic charges down the bridge to be sniper bait.

The construction site on Sharqui peninsula. In the alleyways on Karkand at market or hotel. Jellybad – in the city.

Yeah, it's a snipe fest too. There was like a dozen of them laying along the tracks one time, all in a row. I could only get 3 in the picture. :)
