Keyboard configuration ? What have you done on yours.

Guys

I have been using the standard BF2 layout for my keyboard to date and although it is fine of late I have been playing Infantry only and find I am lagging behind .

On a standard qwerty keyboard what keys have you guys remapped for playng infantry only , prone , jump and weapon select ?

I have heard some people have completley remapped to use the arrow keys .

Only change I've made is bound parachute to V.

I have prone on backslash and crouch on Ctrl, at least i think they're not default.

ok here is my setup

jump (0 ins)
Crouch (Right Ctrl)
Prone (right Shift)
Movement is the arrow keys
Reload push down on the wheel on the mouse
Change to primary weapon left buttion on mouse
Knife left buttion on mouse there are 2 buttions on my mouse

How do you make a 1 key spotting?

Parachute = F
Crouch = Left shift
L Ctrl = auto run (very rarely use it, just double tap forwards)

Changed keys 1-6 around so shock paddles / med packs etc are 1 and 2.

For jets i use M&K so capslock = fly by view, space = cockpit view.

That's pretty much all i've changed.

erm...

NVG are middle mouse
in a plane, middle mouse is rear view, so i can do that, check behind then 'c' to put me in fly by

rest is default, Push to talk for TS is \ and f for vent

I bound parachute to the backspace key. makes it easier to hit.

I remapped almost all my keys. Mostly I use the numeric keypad on my keyboard. 5=fwd 2=bwd 1=strafeL 3=strafeR. All the other keys around it are also programmed so everything is near.

I've tweaked it a bit:

caps lock - sprint
prone - left shift
fly by camera (for airplanes) - <> key
squad\commander screen - 7

Thanks, I was looking for something to map the scroll wheel to.

My controls are so changed I don't think I could even play with the defaults.
