After a while of playing like that you learn very fast where your crosshair is supposed to be. Although i have never played BF2 like this.

I stop doing it after awhile bedcause it gets annoying not know which flags are capped.

Either that player is really good without HUD or all his enemies were noobs or bots, but on the positive side, that looked really cool. It makes it look really realistic, and the player's graphics made it even better, and the fact that he used an AK-47 gave it a special little touch.

And, to answer your question: No, I never play like that, and I doubt I will ever even attempt it, unless I am fooling around on Single Player. In fact, I didn't even know you could turn off the HUD in BF2 until I saw this video.

open console by pressing ` then type renderer,drawhud 0
to turn it back on type renderer.drawhud 1

wtf? why do the renderer command, when you can set your crosshair colour to r/b/g 0/0/0 or set transparancy to 100%.... then you'll only have an invisible crosshair, and not hud/map/3d map/gauges.

couldn't watch the whole thing, i was pulling my eyes out at the way he turned, no strafing no checking corners i am surprised he did not get totally dominated, he L'ed it way too much
