I unlocked it with my Staff Sergeant rank. It helps you get to Gunnery Sergeant A LOT faster. Trust me. I rack up kills with it like it's my job. If you get judging distance and practice hitting guys on the run it's the obvious choice.


G36E is a good one too if you're a total noob.

F2000 is a handheld tank. The gl is your best friend with this and the flash bangs are lovely. See a flag going down, throw a flash bang, and storm it with the gl. Good gun.


But like I said go with the L96 then the F200 and G36E in your next rank.

at anything under Gunnery Sergeant it doesn't really matter what unlocks you get coz the next promo is only gonna be 3k away tops

Ok, sorry for a waste of a thread, but I've really been having trouble deciding what to take for my unlock. I just got the Staff Sargent promotion and the SF expansion. The 3 guns I'm debating over are the l96A1, the G36E, or the F2000. Right now I really only play on Karkand. The gun I use the most is the G3. So the F2000 would seem like a logical choice. However, no one seems to be using that or the G3. The G36E seems to be pretty popular choice right now, so I might just hop on the band wagon and go with that. The L96A1 is probably not what I'm going to go with, but I might conscider it if neither of the ohter guns seem worth taking.

Any advice?

get off karkand and go and enjoy some of the more beutiful maps.

L96 is the finest weapon in the group. The G36E is also pretty nice rifle, good accuracy which I can't say about the F2000. So, unless you are into the noob toobers which considering that you have been using the G3 you probably aren't, I'd recommend the weapon from the same family G36E, or the sniper rifle.

Ok, I think I'm going to go for the L96 for one main reason. I'm very happy with the l85a1 and G3 as it is. The M95 isn't the greatest. Thanks for all the advice.

Ok I'm having another noob moment. When I launch SF, It prompts me to select my unlock, but it only lists the BF2 guns, no G36E, F2000, or L96. I did get my last unlock while playing before I had SF. Would that be the reason I can't select one of thoes guns?

you need to do one entire round on SF, some people say that 5 mins or something like that works but i found that it never for me,if you have not played one full round you will have missed your SF unlock till next time.
