More time I'd say, rank is quite often not a skill indicator. In BF2142 there are twenty promotions in 10 000 points; in BF2 there are eight in the same amount of points.Originally posted by Blackfox View PostComment

Gen.Vlade is right, but the cool part about the ranks are the weapon unlocks, and in 2142 you get high tech gadgets which give some advatagesComment

Rank isn't a STRONG indicator of experience but nonetheless it is an indicator.
A colonel vs. a sargent without padded stats. The colonel is more likely to know more types a gamplay and be more efficient in general than someone with a lot less time with the game. Lets try to be a little unbiased, ok.Comment

I agree that the ranks are not the only indicator of the skills, taken the players play fair and are not statpadding, but anyhow from my personal experience, roughly about 80% of my duels with higher ranked players I've been owned, and vice versa, I've owned the noobs in about 80% of my duels with them, maybe more.Originally posted by zuiquan1 View PostComment
