I have a question about modeling (static)objects in battlefield 2.
I've been mostly building houses so I'll give a try in BF2 too.
I know that bf2 objects demand 3 collision meshes(for soldiers,vehicles and projectiles) and you can add some LODs(level of detail objects) to affect better performance.
What I don't know?I don't know if all meshes need to be closed meshes(closed systems,"cap-holed" meshes), if they don't have to be, what are the pros and cons of closed meshes.
