You not the 1st server that this has happen to.

I have spent the last week or so tracking the PB guids down of the players which have been doing this and over the next week or so you will see then gettting a PsB ban on all there PB Guids no just for BF2 but on all PB games and i will keep adding them if and when the players may get a new pb guid.

Its questionable to me exactly how good PB actually is because ive seen people doing the same stupid crap in this game for well over a year. Cartillery anyone?

Was on a server a few weeks ago and this same thing happened. There was a guy who's name was * (yes just *) and he was kicking our butt in the chopper. I thought maybe he was hacking, but then there are some extremely good solo artisits out there, so I didn't say anything. Then the cartillery started and then he started with the same spam message that you posted.

Then the server crashed!

Thats probably completely different from whatever hack this guy used. There was no cartillery or anything. The server just froze and I assume everyone got a connection error then that text scrolled down the screen and a few seconds later, bam crash to desktop. Ive seen people crash servers with cartillery before and it lags like crazy before it happens but there was none of that. It just froze up out of nowhere.

I've never seen it, pretty serious hack though. Im sure it will be detected and fixed if it becomes a problem.

Misconception...Its not PunkBuster's problem...Its EA's! I'm sure you will ask why...Because its a game hook and will have to patched...EA hasn't fixed yet chances are they won't...Don't kid yourself. This cheat can and does affect the outcome of a round!

Its does more than just ruin 1 round it completely clears out the damn server. This happened on a server I play on regularly and after my game crashed I opened BF2 back up to re-join and it was totally empty.

It happened to me last night as well, as I was commanding, vehicles started to drop... and the same spam message, a few minutes later, it lagged the server to hell, and finally disconnected.

Camperstrike, refresh your memory. What did I say about my stance on hacking of this kind? I also gave you a hint at my experience with server crashing hacks. Cartillery MAY crash the server, it usually doesnt. This sounds like something else. And man this is an annoying piece of crapolama.

Well, it occurs practically every time I see someone cartillerying. They will spam it for a while, then either try to crash the server using cartillery alone, or just use this.

cheat can spoofer there names as much has he or she like, i still track the muppets and ban them :)

As you know you need more than a GUID to get them on the MBL. You need a visible hack in a pbss so I'm not sure how you can get them on the MBL on GUID alone.

They have access to multiple GUIDs. I have caught two of them with positive pbss, submitted them to PsB or pbbans, had them put on the MBL, only to have them back the next week spamming for their site.

On July 28 I was playing on Insomnia 365 "Sharqi" server, please forgive my spelling I skipped that class in school so I could be in the Band. It happened just as you guys said. However when it first started I checked the pings of all the players and the guy who was doing it had his ping jump from about 90 to over 200. My computer did a CTD after about a minute of the cartillary, about 500 Humvees. The admin was on when I rejoined the server and he went to get the guy banned, maybe on the MBL dont know. I play a lot on that server not because its the best server but to try out tactics Ive thought of against possible cheaters. I call them my bag of dirty tricks. No cheats or hacks in there but just some low down dirty tricks I use on low life enemy troops. Anyway glad to hear that something is being done and that everyone knows what to look for.
