I'm back! I just got one question!

Hey!

My last visit was September 11:th, 2006. (Oh 9/11)

Anyway, I don't think anyone remember me as I was not a member who "stood out" or anything. I was just chilling on this board and stuff.

I uninstalled Battlefield 2 like 8 months ago or so because that's when the patch came that made it possible for Linux servers to verify client data - which was a nightmare for this computer because it got some hashings problems, probaly drivers. The harddrives hashes in 3mb/s instead of 150mb/s. So yeah, I think you get it, took me about 7-10 minutes to join a server.

So why am I back then? Because I've finished my summerjob and I'm getting money soon, I'm building a brand new computer that'll handle maximum settings at Battlefield 2!

I've missed Battlefield 2 so much! I didn't wanna leave, but that damn verifying stuff...

Anyway, since I've been gone for about ~8 months, have my account been deleted? It'll take another month before I got the new computer, but then it's all good.

I've tried google to get any info. if BF2 deletes inactive accounts. No results. I went to one of those BF2 stats pages and searched for my nickname, and it was still there.

As I said, Try out Karkand IO, FF=off. You will love it. 92% of the community has moved over to that. It`s just that awesome and the people are friendly, etc, not like on those vehicle servers where people TK for jets, tanks, etc.

yes if being called hacker every 20 seconds by some 12 year old punk is your idea of friendly people dig in. 92% of people? dude what, you are sadly mistaken, your judgment is clouded since you like it so much, don't get me wrong plenty of a$shats on vehicle servers too, but my clan runs our own vehicle server and do not encounter such a$shattery, IE tking for vehicles, if there ever is one, they get a swift kick/ban. i play my share of I/O as well so i am fairly indifferent but the maps for the most part weren't designed to have no vehicles, hence battlefield 2. perhaps i like to play vehicle servers because i can both fight on foot as well as in all vehicles, if you only learn one aspect of the game obviously your gonna get raped in the others, so why even bother to play them at all? isn't that right? dont even start with me being a vehicle whore in them, in the last few months i have Rarely stepped in a vehicle yet i play vehicle servers almost exclusively, with my trusty AT rockets/C4/mines and any of the other number of stationary emplacements on the maps to take vehicles out with, trust me there have been no excessive vehicle rapers when i have been around, it is just alot more fun taking out both vehicles and infantry, instead of just infantry. IMO a 2.5 kdr on foot in a vehicle server is alot more satisfying than a 2.5 kdr in an I/O server.

some of it, honestly play what you like best, if I/O is your thing go for it, same with vehicles, but really its all the same community, your going to get tards in every server, eventually you will find a server you really like with good admins, and you may even join their clan eventually like alot of the guys that visited our clan server have done.

sydus i think a 2.5 kdr on IO is something, it means you managed to dodge all the clays, nades, 36E med dolphins... it truly is some challenge, especially 64 spamfest
