oh when i got my new computer almost a year aog and reinstalled it,i said heck ill play on original it was a blast but only 3 servers that were full almost 247.

Our Server digital-Anarchy is the most popular all maps server and has been for quit some time...Now that we are 6th in the world we might just become the most popular bf2...We offer $15 a month for admin/clan member status...Why be a guppy when you can be a shark?

Funnily enough on the talk of old servers I noticed something the other month when I formatted my machine .

I forgot to patch BF2 and when I searched for my Fav servers I had a list of nothing , then i turned off dome things in my filters .


Viloa , 10 servers running unpatched . I played on a wake server for about 5 rounds and man that Blackhawk splash damage is awsome . Then I C2D and remembered why i patched the game lol .

Did your stats ever change out of that? Would be nice to go do some house cleaning with the Black Hawk like the old days. haha, makes me think of that goofy post I made last year...

Then I C2D and remembered why i patched the game lol .

As much as people talk about C2Ds...I never once got one before patching the game. I played for a good two months unpatched when I started playing again, and never had any problems. I installed 1.4 and, there it went.

Well I play on BBUK alot (193.93.45.123:16567) Im not sure if it has all maps, but im not a fan of 64 player anymore so its perfect The only problem is nearly everyone quits when tampa comes up

GTFO YOU hacking POS, and your whole god damn hacking clan. you will never learn. the only reason people go the that server is that you allow hackers to run free with no repurcussions, do you even have punkbuster enabled? somehow i doubt it, which is why it would be full, its a hackers paradise

Me think you are not happy. I am not if what you said is true about them been a hacking clan. Much like another namless site who makes cheats what a bunch of loosers one day someone will bring out a huge PB and stop such things from happening to games. Lets hope so

I believe its cause some maps are just not as playable as they once where.. the nerfing of the blackhawk killed a few maps which now are only any fun if they are infantry only.

It would be nice to see the blackhawk powered back up the way it was and not do this change to make the cry babies happy just cause they couldn't get in it doing the whole "mine mine mine" jumping around on the pad crap with 20different people all trying to get a seat.

I talked with the guy that developed Karkand and he told me that they had a blackhawk on that map originally. There was also a carrier on Sharqi too.

BF2 has been watered down to appease the infantry players who got tired of all the vehicles. Sharqi would be much better with a carrier. this would make it so the USMC does not need to hold all the spawn points to start MEC ticket bleed and keep the round from ending earlier. Plus urban bombings would be awesome.

He told me there were no jets, just the Cobra and the Blackhawk. I never asked if it had Uncaps. I should IM him and ask about that. He told me that it was too tight of a map for jets. Personally, if a Blackhawk had been on Sharqi, I would have been fine playing MEC, there enough alleyways to get around that problem. And there is a hell of a lot of cover too, compared to something like Mashtuur.

You know, I play enough SF where there are a couple dangerous helos circling a lot. And when you have to contend with a few tanks and arty...it is kinda nice not to have jets too. I mean, when you get on Surge, and you have 4 tanks rolling around and a BMP...it is damn nice not having a jet screwing you too.

Thing is. If people love Karkand, Mash and Sharqi...SF is perfect for them. You need to appreciate jeeps for the maps to run fast...but IO works well on them as well. Just a long journey without vehicles.

Now, I don't have a problem with Jets...I just really wish DiCE had their act together and gave the AT class 1 stinger missile.
