Halflife 2 at that low of a spot? I don't know that needs to be in the top 3 imo.

HL2 should definitely be in the top 3. So many successful games were made from mods of that game!

Pong should be #1! That game opened up everything we play today. (Although really, i guess it isnt that great of a game lol)

Looks like some keep mixing an epic battle/firefight with interesting battle/firefight/story, and so on.

CoH has, hands down, the most epic battles you can have in a game these days. They`re not massively big and last for an hour or so (Armed Assault) but hell, if they don`t feel and look epic. I wouldn`t give it the first pos but I`d put it high.

BF2 is nothing epic imo, just firefights here and there, insta-proners here and there. I`ve yet seen an ingame video or been in a battle I can call epic.
Damn, the game doesn`t even get my adrenaline going.

Half-Life 2 shouldn`t be on that list, only the story is Epic, nothing more. Firefights are short and boring.

Obvious, that guy hasn`t played a lot of games, from all genres, no matter how popular.

CoH is just a WW2 version of star wars empire at war which had much more epic space battles.

How is BF2 not epic? It has an amazing battlefield aspect with everything you can do and most of all the 64 players for huge fights so it feels more like a war then a deathmatch!

I think 1942 and AoE2 deserve to be much higher up on the list its just that compared to now 5 years after there releases they do not have good graphics compared to there modern counter parts. 1942 should of been around #5 same for AoE2. I really dont think you can include CoH wihtout having Empire at war which was what CoH is based off just in the WW2 era. Star wars space battles are ammazing.

CoH is an overrated game that brings little new into the world of gaming game play wise other then taking an existing game a new WW2 look. Its far from a #1 game. This whole debate is stupid anyways who rates a game on "Epicness" its how good the game is.
