getting killed by parachute

i was flying american jet and chasing a mec plane. i was out of missles and used the gun. he jumped out . i ran into him. my plane blew up and he got the kill. instead of me. how?:shakehead:

Parachutes have infinite health, thats how :)

Parachutes are treated as vehicles by the game engine. Indestructible vehicles. Imagine hitting a vehicle drop.


By the way, it works if you swipe the soft fleshy thing under the parachute with your wing, I've done it and survived many times. You have to barrel roll, I think.

Happens all the time. I was playing on Karkand too, my squad was in a chopper heading for the eastern flag. Our squad leader was piloting, he got us over the capping area and said "jump out!". I jumped out, opened my parachute and bang, the chopper blew up killing me and my whole squad. There was battlerecorder running: I happened to be between the copper and the electricity tower, so when I opened the parachute it glitched inside the chopper and blewed it up.

once i landed on another team mates parachute. i floated gently down on top of his. i kept hitting 9 but i guess i wasnt going fast enough to deploy.

I think you can kill people in parachutes whilst you're in a jet if you only get the guy and not the parachute.

Thats how I got my vet anti tank and the jet didn't explode.

yes there is , on the 32 map and 64 maps on the air strip

the names are wrong but, at the american spawn point at the bottom there is a chopper on the 64 maps.
