Alright, I know I am going to be flamed to hell for this, because this forum is full of medic-whoring, nade spamming, G36 whores, but why not.

Am I the only one that finds dying from a single burst to the chest annoying? I was just playing some Karkand (with vehicles ), and almost every time I spawned, I kept being struck down, over and over. Was it just a bad round, or would you agree with me that the G36E is a tad overpowered?

its not that overpowered. i can usually beat someoen with an g36e with my rpk. and if u keep getting spawn killed , spawn somewherhe else. g36e isnt that great for long range.

Yeah. I mean why spawn at the front line when I can enjoy a mile-long walk from main spawn

G36E has better accuracy than the L85, it just lacks a scope.

But L85 has full-auto fire and a one-shot kill to the head. Things that the G36 lack.

All down to personal preferance and what gun you get used to. :)

the E just has minimal recoil, making it easy in those situations

as for distance if the no0b knows about semi he could have you for breakfast again anyways

imo, the 36E just makes you crap with all other guns

No. I mean, ok it's a good gun, it's pretty accurate, it has burst but..

It doesn't have full auto so its rate of fire is pretty low, which paired with its less powerful bullets makes it less useful in close range combat.

low rate of fire???

if you can get the timing of the bursts right (about the only ounce of skill) then you will ahve an awesome RoF... like hte M16, only more accurate

im not saying u have to spawn at factory in karkand. alot of the time, the USMC will camp the alleys / spawn points in the hotel, so i usually just spawn at the square which is prob a 15 second walk to get into the action.

what he said, i can whore it up like no other with the G36, but its damn boring, L85 is frikkin fun to use and the kills roll in just as fast if used properly, if i find too many people are using the G36e on a server i will just use the Rpk (if i am MEC), L85 if US/China, as the rpk is the G36 killer, if skill = same it seems more battles are won by the guy weilding the rpk over the G36e.

how the hell would you know if he was aiming at your chest? the g36e is a fast gun, it kills quick. in my opinion its only good in close and medium-close ranges, even though the l8 has crappier accuracy, its better in long ranges because of its scope.

its a matter of preference. I use both, if im sucking with one i go with the other. i mostly use stocks though because im too lazy to click the change weapon button.
