    Re: One kit or many?

I tend to choose different kits depending on the situation

Example - Stay with same kit

    Monkey_Priest is currently Assault class
    Monkey_Priest is killed by tank
Monkey_Priest stays as Assault class to take on tank
Monkey_Priest spawns at the same flag
Monkey_Priest is killed again, in the same matter, only his smoldering boots are his remains
    =FAIL!

    Example - Choosing different kits
    Monkey_Priest is currently Assault class
    Monkey_Priest is killed by tank
Monkey_Priest Chooses Anti Tank class to take on tank
Monkey_Priest spawns at the same flag
    Monkey_Priest i5 t3h w1n!!1!!11!!!11oneone!!11!!!eleven!!11!!!11one
    =Success!

Moral of the story (a) is - Always switch class
Moral of the story (b) is - CTRL + C & CTRL + V is great for posts like these

I like to play all kits, lest favorte is the assualt, i just dont care for it, other kits have just as good weapons with some toys (claymour's, mines, wrench, c4) and your support kits medic & ammo is nice to play, ya can rack up some points for yourself & aid your team in winning.

someone put they usually take what ever the teams needs, i like tto do that too, if i see something needs repair & i just died, i click my engineer kit & go do it.

        Re: One kit or many?

with my main the majority of the time i am/was medic, since starting another noob i have just used whatever i feel is needed at the time, mostly assault tho since it is so damn fun to use, but trying to well round my kit times, any gun as well, mostly stocks just because i love the M4, M16, Rpk, Aks, M24 over their unlock counterparts, not much for sniping but will pull out the M24 when needed. so after almost 400 hours of medic on my main i try to stay away from it a bit, but it's just too dominating at times, at least its not my most played kit on my second accnt.

This is my philosophy as well.I try to adapt to the situation at hand and take a decision on which kit i will use accordingly.
However i still consider medic to be my "main" class as i will always spawn as one first.I'm a tank whore first and foremost and not a medic whore by any mean but playing that kit give me some versability. If i lose my tank i can still go on foot , be effective and rack up some good point by healing and reviving.I also play Spec Ops and Anti Tank quite a lot in "normal maps".In I/O servers i divide my time between Assault , Support and Medic.

I don't play Engineer much other than on armor maps (Highway Tampa) or if i'm in a Tank squad.Sniper i don't play much since i find it quite boring but if certain situations require that i spawn as one than i will.

              Re: One kit or many?

I usually play Sniper, but i switch between the other kits when they are need, If get killed by a tank I'll spawn as Anti-Tank, if some gets killed as a medic I'll run over there and pick the Medic kit and revive him.

                Re: One kit or many?

I started out as engineer because tank whoring was one of the easiest things for a newbee. Since then i am collecting my badges kit after kit, bronze, silver and finally gold.

So now i am support only.

You've just got to practice. GL'ing on Warlord from the rooftops is a good way to do that - you'll soon get the fell for distance, etc.

Don't know how many will take down a chopper, but it will certainly get their attention if you hit them - in most cases they'll leave to repair or panic and crash. If they stay, just keep hitting them.

As for jeeps, don't know about the larger ones, but the the FAVs and similar can be taken out with one shot. Also good on Warlord when the bad guys load up to zip to the back flags - one grenade - 3-4 kills.

I always use a mixture of kits in each round unless i am going for a specific award like Assault combat
