Today we stumbled upon a new screenshot of Master Chief that has been made available through Bungie.net. There's not much information about the screen, except that we know it is from the campaign mode of Halo 3!

Here's what Bungie.net had to say about the screen:

Well, well well, what's going on here? We're saying nothing about what's going on in the above image other than it is a screenshot taken in-game from Halo 3. You may now commence rabid speculation, inevitably followed by wishing that you were friends with a super genius doctor who was willing to drive you to Sept. 25 in his '80s sports car. Shows how much all you ****ing morons know... Halo 3 isn't going to use CG. Their cinimatics are always going to be used with ingame graphics, It has already been stated by Bungie. So it never seems like you stopped playing. So... this classifies you all as MORONS!...lol

Yeah, and Metal Gear Solid: Guns Of The Patriots will look exactly like it was shown at E3, same with Killzone 2.

I think it`s fair to say, it won`t look that good when you play Halo 3 on your 360.

lol its already been stated that Killzone 2 was all fake. The game play was **** in that game any way. The AI was ****ing stupid.

It will look good on mine no matter what I have a 32" Flatscreen LCD HD.

Now metal gear solid that might look like the one they showed at E3. I'm only making that perdiction off of MGS: Snake Eater. The graphics were pretty good on that for a PS2. But, I didn't really like the game play all that much.

360 graphics just aint that good anymore, PC will pass it with CoD4, Crysis etc.
That shot is so pumped up on steroids that it`s bloody obvious.
When you`re blowing **** away in H3, it won`t look that good.

In-game, Halo 3 will look like Halo 2 but with more glow and shine.

Ignorant idiots, anyone who thinks that the screenshot is one of ingame gameplay is a braindead moron. Just because it is classified as "in-game" doesn't mean its a gameplay screenie.

Halo is an overrated piece of **** as far as I'm concerned.
