4 Rules/Hints I live by

4 rules i live by:
1: Never stop moving - you are 10 times harder to hit when you are jumping, going prone and running around

2: Always shoot prone - unless you have to shoot standing up, going prone increases accuracy tenfold

3: Do what your kit suggests - if you have a medic kit... don't try and take out a tank... bloody heal people! if you are a sniper... SNIPE PEOPLE, don't try and take out a full assault squad

4: Communicate & Terminate - if you see enemies, spot them, that way team-mates can see them and help you terminate the buggers

add or tweak these if you like

See an enemy, kill them. See someone proning and not paying attention to anything, go up for a knife kill. :)

I use those rules all the time and i love to knife people while they are proning.
But i hate when i get spawned camped :cry:

2: Always shoot prone??? come to karkand and let me see you do that while i jump over you and shoot you on the back while im still standing up. Prone is only last resort not a main use.

3: Do what youre kit suggest...yea for the most part thats true...but its funny how nub tankers nowadays get out of the tank when youre throwing med packs at them from the side or rear.

4: Communicate and terminate...so far the only thing 100% correct youve mentioned. For me I always spot the infantry before I ever fire at them, this way if I die my teammate knows where they are

but i enjoy taking out full assault squad's when sniping its fun :salute:

OK you want the uncut version or the whiny one?

uncut involves bunny hopping and prone spamming, while the whiny one doesnt.


1. NEVER EVER GO PRONE UNLESS NECESSARY ( Support kits ) which means 60m+ away for the reason that it will take you forever to get up fast. After you prone it always goes....crouch then stand not just automatically stand since 1.41

2. Crouching for anything around 40-60m so after you get a kill you can bunny hop away immediately and avoid fire.

3. NEVER EVER use zoom unless you can barely see them. Firing using just the crosshairs is more accurate than you think. This goes more for the AK's and the M16/G36E.

4.Bunny hopping...oh bunny hopping....yes people say its a noob tactic...i say if you cant hit a bunny hopper than you sir are a nub.

To hit a bunny hopper( Yes this is to all you that complain about them ....im guessing this goes for putney :nod: ) Always aim on the upper portion of the torso. When someone hops that area would usually be by the mid center of the body so it would make their hopping around pointless. Do either this or wait till they hit ground then fire

5. When you see a bunny hopper infront of you ...NEVER PRONE. Best way is to hop along side this person firing as you land. He whoever prones first DIES first.

6.Now on kit...whatever kit you pick dont just do what the kit suggests...like medic just running around me a medic to everyone and support doing nothing but throwing ammo,etc....

Medic Kit: You only go and rev when you think its safe to rev...you piss the other person more by reving them only to get shot when they couldve spawned like a second or so but instead you reved them. Throwing med pack around in pub servers is much better than to look for people that need it. IN COMPETITION MATCHES HOWEVER its different.

Support kits: Its a bad idea chucking ammo bags when your squad is hiding...YOUR AMMO BAG SYMBOLS SHOW UP SO DONT BE A NUB to get your squad killed just cause you wanted points.

AT kits/Spec ops....not really necessary to have them...on public servers you find the enemy have them more often than you think. SO it is better to go support or medic and pick the enemy kit if there is armor around.

Snipers: Well for me I only use this when im bored or want to run around just gheymoring people...not recommended for competitive matches but fun for pub games.

Assault: Best thing is to fire a nade launcher then switch to gun them with the main weapon if you miss.

7. Yes communication...that I definetely agree with you and many people need to learn it. Q spotting not only helps you but it helps youre team. If you have VoIP / Teamspeak/ Ventrillo ..USE IT!

I didn't want it to turn this way but you forced me to when you started calling me a noob when I clearly have more experience than you public and competitive wise and I was just giving some friendly constructive criticism but you instead decided to interpret it as mere bashing.

im sorry for gettin angry... but read the posts before josh's... thats constructive criticism... Josh's post was straight up CRITICISM! if you dont think so go back and read it carefully... having said that Josh's hints were good but the post reads 4 rules I live by... not 4 rules for you to pay me out on!

Rule 2 is: Go prone if you find it nessesary. Dont ALWAYS or NEVER go prone.
