You don't have to be to enjoy the stats system.

If Ea do loose them will we be compensated , somethinng like anyone logged in 2000 points ?

You won't be compensated. My stats just began updating yesterday, and I started around where I was when they first crashed. Not that big a deal, at least for me, I'm only a Seargent still. But don't expect compensation, and don't worry about it. Stats were gone for only 2 weeks, but there's plenty more time to play.

According to that ea post it is normal if you're not seeing your points yet. Said it may take up to a week. So if we can trust Violet or whatever her name is then we should just give it some time.

I am getting most of my points.
The only one i can recall not getting any points is the round i try to get the expert heal badge and i doesnt show up

Mine don't appear to be on yet. Not that I mind much, I just came here to check what the problem was as I created a new account and I've been playing for a while now and I checked my progress today and it shows 0 points.

Luckily, I read the forums. Instead of jumping in and posting a new thread. There must be loads of 'stat' threads on here now.

Mine updated yesterday. I lost everything I had through the week. Then I quit yesterday. Got on later (i'm almost positive it was the same server) and nothing updated. I was 170 away from Sergeant, got that in 2 games, and they didn't update. I just got on right now and they didn't update yet. I played a game and they didn't update either. Is it possible that the stats crisis is back?

Here's my question - if you received a badge or ribbon during the time the stats were down, will you be able to get it again or will your system think that you've already received it, but yet it doesn't show in your stats.

i don't play for stats much only as something to aim for.
my stats haven't updated since the 16 .
its a bit brown becus i got a good few knife kills .
and want to make my next rank to get my last unlocks .
so its a bit of a pain in the *** but hey i still had fun playing and thats the point after all isn't it.

to all you stat whores maybe you should stop stat padding .
and start supporting the gr8 mods out there .

You can get them again Rafterman. I got the Mertorious Unit Ribbon (or something like that) during the stat situation then got it yesterday (and updated).

all my new scores are updating but I havnt got any from the down time

and Sars, thats just a BF2S piece of crap stats page, go to BF2Player and you will see your updated stats, if you dont just click "update now"
