i really wish they would port this for the pc. there are no more good combat flight sims left and pretty much nothing for modern combat but i get the feeling this will be more arcade like bf2 flight than a true flight sim.

Storm of War: Battle of Britain keeps getting pushed back and i can only play IL2 for so long, hehehe.


between this and gta4 i might have to finally get a 360.

Ace Combat is far from realistic. Ace Combat isn't a flight sim, its a movie sim. It simulates the ultra-romanticized movie version of the fighter pilot and his plane.

On the side, it really annoys me how Storm of War gets absolutely no publicity what so ever. No screenshots, nothing. And the same goes for this mythical Fighter Ops I keep hearing about. I keep hearing that it's going to be so great, its going to be like Falcon 4.0 but with more planes, etc. I would not have a problem believing that if the game actually seemed to exist. All you get for Fighter Ops is some model shots and a website with absolutely no information on the game. That's better than Storm of War though, at least Fighter Ops has some semblance of a website.

yea, it sucks that storm of war keeps getting pushed back and scares me even more that there are no reviews or even box art yet and the same 4 screenshots. i know they did include allot of videos though with the us version of 1946 and they showed off some outstanding work.

THE DEMO IS AWESOme!!!! it has awesome graphics, sound, the dogfights are BIG, the missiles trail lines make it look sick, i totally recommend it

actually, i wasn't that impressed with it.

need more in-game stuff.

also i want a garuntee that the series will continue on xbox360. I would hate to buy and xbox for this game and then realize the next one is coming for PS3 only.

I really enjoyed the trailer, Namco takes making trailers very seriously. They know how to produce a spectacular movie industry quality trailer. The cost of that is that you obviously do not see much in the way of gameplay.

If you're really interested, try the demo on marketplace. I cannot stress enough how much more fun it is to actually play this game than to watch all the gameplay videos and trailers.

i shat myself, while watching the trailer, while playing the game, while looking at SS on the PC, my mums out buying a new set of underwear.

I remember playing Ace Combat 2 on playstation. Pretty good game, though I never understood how a plane could be loaded with more than a hundred missles.

Seems a bit too arcade for my taste, but I will try it out on my PC (wink, wink)

Btw, since when isn`t BioShock for PC? It`s main target is the PC community, consoles are just thrown in for the sake of it.
