2142 takes 30 secs top yet bf2 always insists on taking a flippin age to log into a chracter and when it does it loads up some stupid map that nobody is even playing.

Having a Raptor HDD also helps after the 2GB ram upgrade.

Don't use the play now icon. Delete what was said...and just log in to the regular BF2 icon.
