How do I get my mod into the from of *.exe then install from there?

There are several free installer-creators. Many BF2 mods use ClickTeam Install Creator. Some others are Nullsoft Scriptable Install System (a.k.a. NSIS) and Inno Setup.

I use Clickteam Install Creator Pro. It works really well, and is very easy to use.

Most professional software seems to use InstallShield which is not free.
