DANGIT you got me alle xcited I was thinking you where going to post an insttruction manual on teh stuff, well anyway try this.
1.watch videos on long range sniping and then spend a few HOURS straight with the gun at long range, at really long ranges you will have to aim ALOT higher than you may think.
It is getting annoying now i was in a sniper only battle...no changing sides and i saw one of them but couldnt hit him at ALL and he got away i tend to hit and hope now.
And for the second time today (first can be found here --> http://www.totalbf2.com/forums/showthread.php?t=115524) ... can an admin change the topic title plz. The current one is misleading. Instead of 'How to ...' it should read 'How do you ...'.
I dont mind the influx of noobies on this forum but at least learn how to start topics. Or better still how to use the SEARCH function.
Them W0okie guys are soo effin good at sniping. I like was droppin my jaw at the first guy. but it just got better!! Wow. I like have no skills!! Well not witht the sniper rifle. I am more a LMG/Assault Rifle guy. But I like LMG best!
basically you just compensate for the distance to your target.....if hes quite far away (say 300m) you just aim RIGHT above his head(if you want a headshot) and pull the trigger
basically when shooting very long distance always aim above your target area.
headshots, you aim above the entire body, right above the head
body shots, aim near top of body.
I think it's funny, that people actually starts regonizing us. Year ago, none knew who we were :)
Never made it into the second video :F Broke my neck, so kinda had to have break from BF :P I also recommend to watch the first video :)
The best way of getting head shots is as follows;-
1. Never,and i mean never use M95.
2. Always go prone.
3. Where ever possibale try to ues L96A1.
4. At long range aim about 1 pixel above the targets head (easy to to with the sights of the L96A1).
5. Don't rush the shot, wait till the right moment.
6. Try and keep the mouse still, if you hit the triger to hard it will move the mouse and miss the target.
7. If useing SVD try and get the head so it is covered by the ^ and not just above.
^^ Nice tips, also, the M95 is a great gun, I love the beggining of a Kark round and everyones at the building shooting the M249 mounted LMG as I pick 'em off.

dude, they are not that tough.
I wasted one of them 2 times in a round, he only got me 1 time.
Eddy, Please just shut up about the M95! It's not that good of a weapon! and it has problems with Acc and you can only get headshots with it, just barely.
Seriously, whenever a topic about sniping comes around forums you get so much bullcrap in it. How is it that the M95 has accuracy problems? Accuracy isnt even on the technical data sheet, its a Stat on your Account. If you meant to say Deviation; its the same as the Type88/SVD, but with the added benefit of the x5 Zoom the M24/L96 have. In fact the M95 Reticle crosshair is the best aligned one of all the Sniper scopes. Check the pictures here --> http://www.totalbf2.com/forums/showp...5&postcount=16 <-- (its still a WIP).
