That should help you see when you can unlock new weapons.

As for how to unlock them, when you get the required amount of points...while playing, there will be a fan fair kind of thing and it will say you have been recomended for a promotion. When you quit out of the server and go to your BFHQ it will give you the option of unlocking a new weapon.

G3, P90, Jackhammer

It realy depends, I got the G3 first as I don't like the Jackhammer, but the P90 is great and very accurate.

The G3 is very accurate, also, it's almost more accurate in bursts, and it's hit realy hard.

The AT stock SMG are acctually very accurate, you just gota use bursts, so te P90 doesn't realy change in acuracy (much), but you have 50 bullets instead of 45/30.

The Jackhammer is useless.

The USMC/PLA/MEC stock shotguns are better anyway, and they all have 7 bullets.

The MEC SK12 is great to use and if you aim for the head one shot is a kill so you won't need two.

(Although I love the charge some1 and enter my clip into them, just imagining what he feels, when someone emptys a clip on me it sure is freeky ).

uhgh you people. i am sure he is not in a league and could care less if some people think they are noob. the RPK is noob because it is hands down the best gun in the game, the Ak101 is noob because it is the second best gun in the game, unless your playing china, yet they are both unlocks, making you a noob because you whore the AKs. the G36E IS a noob gun and boring to use, but there if you feel frustrated at guns you have to aim with

The m16 and m1187 = leetburger weapons. M16 single shot is the best assault riffile and M1187 > all 1 shot

I love the G3 - it's reet powerful, gets more accurate on auto (WTF?!) and has snipy single shot capabilities.

I don't think i have EVER been flashed by an enemy before :cry:

ive never been flashed, in BF2 or real life, heck i didnt even know it was possible in game!

back to the thread...................
it completely depends on what kit you play most. if assault is your cup of tea then get the G3, if you play alot of AT get the P90, and if you play engy, get the G3, and stick with the stock shot guns. Jackhammer sucks ***.

The only problem is you only get 150 rounds total, and with 900 RPM, that goes out quick...

well cosidering as the P90 isnt there to be fired on auto at long ranges (thats what the AT rocket is for), and oh if you did fire a full clip in one go youd probably hit someone above you, so that is irrelevant. if you know what your doing with the gun then there should never be any reason to run out of that amount of ammo quickly.
