Oh just a word of advice go to C:\Documents and Settings\xxxxxx\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles and go into your main profile then open up video.con file and change the rez to 800x600 and hit save .
Now go to C:\Documents and Settings\xxxxxxx\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\Default and open video.con file and change it to 800x600 and save
Now last go to whatever drive you have bf on\bf2\mods\bf2\Settings now open up video default.con and change the 0 in allow all refresh rates to a 1 and save. Not sure if the refresh one does much but the 800x600 will prevent crash to desktop in the future . Im sure most of you know this but it was anoying to me when i first got my screen. Hope this helps some one
