    What's "stat padding"?

I've heard it mentioned a few times and I noticed a lot of servers have a rule against it, but I'm not quite sure what it is. I did a search, but nothing came up on the subject.

    So, what's stat padding?

        shh.
Its when medics constantly revive a guy while one guy from the other team kills the guy the medic revives. it gets you alot of points. but you can get your stats reset for it. I wouldnt advise doin it buddy.

Just get good. Then the points come abundantly.

I can get 130 points IAR super easy Without Paddin too. Its called teamwork and combat. Get 35 kills and 30 team work. Thats a hundred points you know. Not hard to do on a IO server. That is where combat shines.

Dont pad. Its for noob point whores

So would that be like a medic that does nothing but revives, or mostly just revives? Because yesterday on road to jalalabad I was a sniper and there were 2 other snipers (on my team) pretty close to me and 1 medic was there, too. Whenever we would die the medic would revive us. Would that be stat padding on the medic's part?

It's basically anytime you are not really playing the game to enjoy normally, more to simply get points.

Knife and Pistol servers are normally High Point games, and that is against EA's rules.

Like was mentioned, when two player on different teams constantly revive and shoot a player just to get points... That is one type that is common, If that happens to me I simply disconnect.

Ok, I understand now. Thanks for the help everyone.

Actually... just one more thing. How would your stats get reset?

Err it is. Any server that enforce the rule Knife and Pistol only are the main padding servers. Those servers are for people who can't get X amount of pistol or knife kills to earn a badge.

Your stats will be wiped by EA, your score will be zero and all ranks/unlocks lost.

Then IO mode was made for those who can't get X amount of kills with assault rifles, sniper rifles, machineguns, SMGs, shotguns, and overall infantry kills to earn a badge.

As opposed to pressing on a mouse?
