Skill, Tactics & Experience all play into your K/D ratio. It's something that can't be fully described. I suggest you squad up or watch people who are skilled and good team players.

What is that supposing to mean? So new players always play Karkand? Maybe all you ever played is karkand..

lol, funny anecdote, I think I killed more attack choppers with the AT missile than tanks

Just hide and no-scope it at the tracks, 2 hits = kill.

Tanks and helis are the only real vehicular threats (jets, depend on how good your team is overall), and 2 lucky (or not so, if you're l33t) hits to the windscreen of a heli will take them out for good (if the first doesn't kill both inside).

All they really have to do is take that retarded commander mode out (at least, the UAV and spotting), and make light vehicles invisible to ground radar for jets.

Trust me, I tried the AT kit but since one shot kills at a tank are nearly impossible it takes more than one AT to get rid of them.
I figured that one AT alone can’t Stopp a tank or APC. But I’m no AT specialist.
Usually I fire one missile at the front/rear track of the tank and somehow get killed before shooting the second.
I think a good AT/Support/Medic squad can pwn vehicles, but these are hard to find these days

You have to stay out of their way if you want to survive.
And it's quite work to capture a flag as infantry when vehicles are around.
You have to be really sneaky if you want to walk on the map on a vehicle server.

If anything, I've died the most from grenades and somehow, artillery. Vehicles are no problem whatsoever, it's a false sense of security when the enemy knows what they're doing (apart from the jets).

Ha, 99% of the time the people with decent K's are the vehicle whores, I reckon you should ony get half a kill if you use a vehicle. Additionally, infantry combat is flawed, the cone of fire and hit detection is not good at all. You can sometimes get lucky with a good position or bottleneck but most of the time you'll end up being killed by helicopters, planes, APC's, tanks and last but certainly not least... artillery. The very fact that you can perform a prone roll while firing accurately at the same time is daft.

Think of what you would do in real life....that's what you do in battlefield 2. The only way to win is to be logical and try and use some half thought of tactics, rather than commit suicide for honour and glory :dead:
And get flags.....it's not that hard. :yay: :salute:

Yes, join a squad with a medic, that will make you "die" less.
Also, don't be rmabo and rush into the battle area. Try to approach from behind or from the sides.
And don't only go for a lot of kills. You can only win the round if you get flags!

Yea join a squad and stick with them! chances are that there will be at least one medic around you to get a revive.

Be cautious of your surroundings, make smart decisions, learn from your mistakes. Each time you get waxed, think of ways to avoid making the same mistakes. MOST importantly though work as a team with a squad.

correct. Battlefield 2 is not for rambos :)
    its about tactics.
