I sight I will never forget...

We were sitting in college doing work, chatting away... I hear a loud noise, look at the window and see a helicopter hoovering like, a few meters away from us! It felt like an apache is aiming at us! (to keep it BF2 related haha), anyways, a min or so later, it landed in our college... a sight I will never forget, the landing, taking off, the sound... it was so beautiful. Anyways, it was a Virgin Ambulance helicopter, never seen one since I was about 5 or 6 years old when 3 army helicopters flew past our house so close that everything was shacking in rooms.

It's never really a goodsight when you see a Medflight.

You should go hang around your local airport, Im sure you'll see some awesome aircraft. Beats sittin' around the house.

Yeh wonder what happened, must've been something serious. I was told, the last time they called an air ambulnace was 4 years ago when someone got stabbed in the student common room :/

Knowing BF2, it would be the exact same thing as the best assault helo, but could heal itself, and rez teammates. It also has a cannon that can kill in 2 hits.

On topic: Since I live 15 miles or so south-east of Dobbins Airforce Base (one of the larger AFBs in the south), we get C-130s flying over all the time. However, when I was about 7, I saw 2 Apaches fly over the top of our col-de-sac, hover, then keep going, and they repeated the process about 5 minutes later.

Also, the C-130s fly so low you can see individual letters and markings under the wings/fuselage.

I was on the beach in Flordia recently when 3 chinook's flew by really low. it was a pretty awesome sight.
