I hate getting killed at close range by the GL, but it's a tactic that works.
Personally I like using skill weapons - not meaning that I'm skilled lol.

Any weapon that is not spammed is legally used - so why complain?

Uhm, with your best kit as medic (im guessing G36E) and your most played map Karkand you really don't have the grounds to make any claims that you use guns that take "skill"

Being ontopic: I use the GL whenever I play, constantly, I don't care what people say about it but I love that feeling that I get (I get this alot) when I come around the corner and a support is RIGHT in my face and starts spraying before he hits the ground, I fire beneath him and the nasty man goes bye bye! This works with all bunny hoppers in general and its also insanely useful for taking snipers off rooftops and killing that vodnik that has you pinned down

I agree with "most" of what you said...but pointblank is rather "unsportman lik"

Oh and I wouldn't mess with Fipz

so dropping a nade at your feet is okay?

tbh doesnt bother me either way because one way or another the person who moans about it will soon adopt that tactic and start doing the same.

              What I mean is...

GLing at pointblank is okay. But it's not a very "fair". As in it's a cheap way to kill.

the question should be what is the only gun in the game that you wouldnt class someone being a noob for using it? The answer is the gun you use all the time......

I just don't get why some ppl are always trying to start stupid discussion.
But yes, it's true, my most played class is medic and I use the G36E. And why not? Medic is by far the best allround class in the game, the G36E is a great gun, very accurate. I use it on single shot mostly 'cause I don't like the burst mode. It requires more skill than nades clays and GL's, so what's your point?
And  "Karkand" is a map and not a weapon, so completely useless argumentation

The GL takes more skill than the G36E.

Either way, there's nothing wrong with using the weapon(s) you like. Leave people alone for their personal preferences.

*cough* maybe you shouldn't talk about what you don't know. Hitting someone from 30 feet away with G36E in semi is probably the easiest thing you could ever hope to accomplish in Bf2, I dare you to go on an empty server, get commander and drop a supply crate at a range you consider "skilled" and try and hit it with your GL, my bet is you'll have to go and resupply from that crate before you even hit it -_- and my point about the map is that your the typical Bf2 player, most played map karkand, mediwhore with g36e and bunny hopping, doesn't help the team because medics don't revive people anymore.

PS: I'll come to your domain anytime and 'mess with you' ^_^ we'll see who does better :P
