I love the pilots that drop flares, when they start taking cannon fire without getting toned. As if somehow the flares will stop the bullets are heat seaking. LOL

ah yes that makes me laugh too. they dont seem to understand that other planes can shoot them down with bullets and if theres no tone they most of the time dont look behind or evade.

Dropping countermeasures while being locked onto makes me laugh too.
Normally people are clever enough to wait a few seconds, and THEN fire. They're not expecting it this way.

Repitition.
Also, just because you do not have a positive lock on a chopper, doesn't mean another jet doesn't. I never have just one jet on my six.
Sometimes on hard tight rolls my thumb slips over to button 3 and trips the flares...
Sorry if it's an inconvience.
The thing is, that guy changes camera views a lot(not as much as myself, or others like metallica or N2K). Change camera to scout, chase, redirect, correct, etc. As the J-10 is in a loop, all you have to do is follow(and yes, you CAN beat J-10s in circle fights), but when that J-10 does a turn in between his loop, you have to change views if you want to chase(if you're a decent pilot), and it's much easier to hit a J-10 with a missile while he's in this maneuver(actually, this works against all planes). I catch myself getting shot down in MiGs by crap pilots a lot because I do this maneuver w/o knowing it. And I think, damn...what the hell is going on?
The theory is, when you do this in a plane, your turn radius is cut in half(and most times less than half if you turn real sharp), making it easier for the missile to track you. The J-10's hit box is godly in a loop, but doing this maneuver is almost like he's flying straight(to the missile). With no flares and a steady lock, he's a goner. But you'll only have a split second.
