Not sure mate, depends on loads of things.
I don't play on servers with a ping over about 70, the servers I use are normally around the 20 mark (for me)

The tacticalgamer.com line of servers is what you are seeking. A few quick points about our server to convince you:

- We run scripts on all our servers that kick squadless players after a set period of time.
- Server rules dictate you must follow SL and CO orders.(this is enforced)
- Most of the players use VOIP.
- Full squads using teamwork on both teams...it doesn't get any better.

I am going to mark out to my own server on this one. Check us out about any evening, the server is located in Dallas so you will have a great ping. Its a adult server and stress teamplay all the way. The server info is in my signature.

DrunkenMasters servers are awesome. they're about the only admins that don't kick or ban me.

They will come to their senses soon enough.

If your looking for some teamwork look us up. Even better you can join us on Teamspeak which adds even more to the game. US server based in Seattle, working battle recorder, voip etc etc and even better 12:oc7ock is not welcome! :laugh:

The server you are looking for doesn't exist. I've been looking for the history of BF2 and haven't found one yet.

Post 17 was not the typical spam that leads to dissapointment when you jump on the server. Such a server does exist. Take the bait for this one...you'll be happy with the end product.

Organization and the chain of command is worthless if it is not enforced. It sounds strict if you've never experienced it but the gameplay is much more satisfying. Commanders actually command and squads actually follow. Thus you get organization on a team level. Meanwhile with squad members following SLers orders you now have full squads roaming around causing havoc. Its teamwork at its best and its an experience you'll find every day ya play. The server is not for everyone...we know this and those that want to lonewolf end up going elsewhere.

24/7 Karkand Ranked, 34 people, 64 player map, V1.4 of BF2. I've had sick teamwork squads and they'd chat over voice (I don't have a mic anymore), and it was seriously fun as hell.

It's the best goddamn server ever next to the NUKE which goes changes map after every 2 rounds. It's missing Wake Island 2007, though.

I normally get 90 -150 playing on US servers so I guess you might have similar on UK based servers

I would strongly recommend Dead Meat ( 70.86.88.2:16567 ) if you are looking for teamwork; not a clan but a large group of regulars and good admins. No rules about baseraping, spawncamping, etc. Website with forums at www.warhaus.com . (I have heard good things about Raging Rebels on the forum; I'd probably try there if I couldn't get into Dead Meat.)

Really you should check out FullContactWar, one of the most or the most admined server on BF2, and they're all real nice guys who listen to you and not instantly kick you. It's also very tactical and almost everyone on their voips and/or teasmpeaks. Really an awesome server.
