Okay. Lately I've noticed a lot of new people here. You guys should read the stickies and use the search button.

The search button is on the top right section of the page. It says "Search this forum" it is black in color and has a downward arrow tip. If you click on it type in what you are looking for and hit go.

camperstrike. if a noob doesn't know how to use the search button, or know it's there, how would they search? are they going to go back in three months forums then see a thread like this?

In my opinion, the forums are for everyone, new and experienced alike. There are too many self-appointed moderators here. It's like being at a party; if a group of people are talking about a subject you don't care to discuss, move on to another group of people. This is the same as threads in a forum.

I could just see some people on this forum at a party. They walk up to a group of people discussing something and he/she says, "this was discussed earlier by another group. You must now talk about something else."

The point is we need fewer self-appointed moderators telling people over and over that "this subject has already been discussed" and to "use the search function." By the same logic, should we never discuss a subject in real life once it's been discussed? People come here to talk about things, not just to look up information.

Most people just create an account and post their question without reading anything that has already been posted, this is how we end up in the search situation in the first place.

None of these people are gonna see or read this thread before making their stupid thread.

I think people should have a minimum post count before being able to create a thread, something like 15 or 20 posts this way they're more prone to knowing the way things work by the time they can ask questions with their own thread.
